CPL Group and East Sepik Provincial Health Authority enhances Diagnostic Care in East Sepik with Medical & Lab Equipment Partnership Wewak, Monday 25th May 2026 CPL Group, through the City Pharmacy Medical & Lab Supplies Division, has formalized a key partnership with the East Sepik Provincial Health Authority (ESPHA) through the signing of a Laboratory Equipment Lease Agreement, aimed at strengthening diagnostic services in the province.
Under the three-year agreement, CPL MedLabs will supply advanced laboratory equipment, including biochemistry analyzers that support fast and accurate testing of patient samples, in addition to providing support through full installation, staff training, ongoing maintenance, and a reliable supply of consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations. This was formalized in a signing ceremony in Wewak by CPL Group and the East Sepik Provincial Health Authority, represented by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mathew Kaluvia.
“This partnership will support healthcare providers in East Sepik with improved testing capacity, enabling quicker diagnosis and more informed treatment decisions”, said Pradeep Panda, Chief Operating Officer, CPL Group. “With the strong technical support that our Medical & Lab Services Division offers, we are confident in the positive outcomes this partnership will bring”.
As an important witness to the signing of the agreement, East Sepik Governor, Hon. Allan Bird MP said, “I know that one of the major challenges faced by the hospital is the analysis of samples, and I am pleased that this partnership has helped solve that issue today. This is why we should never be afraid to reach out to partners for support with the resources we lack.”
