This milestone partnership with Apollo Hospitals was formally launched with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by CPL Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ajay Patel, and Apollo Hospitals Senior Manager, International Marketing, Dr. Harsh Jadhav in Port Moresby on Wednesday 9th September 2026.
The official MoU was signed a day after a Continuous Medical Education (CME) Event took place with visiting Apollo Hospital Specialists, Dr. Varun Bansal (Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon), Dr. Asit Arora (Surgical Oncologist) and Dr. Peter Olali (Oncologist & Director Cancer Services, Port Moresby General Hospital), among Medical Industry Professionals and Partners.

We want patients to have access to better information, specialist advice and informed treatment pathways before making the significant decision to travel overseas for medical care’, said Mr. Patel.
