CPL Group has reaffirmed its commitment to professional excellence in healthcare by participating in the Australasian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP), the largest pharmacy conference in the southern hemisphere.
The annual APP Conference brings together up to 7,500 pharmacy proprietors, pharmacists, interns, students, pharmacy assistants and industry professionals for three days of learning, networking and professional development.
This year, CPL Group, through its City Pharmacy network, sent a contingent to attend the conference’s comprehensive education program. The program featured industry and clinical updates, business insights, and motivational presentations delivered by more than 120 recognized industry experts and thought leaders.
City Pharmacy representatives gained valuable exposure to emerging healthcare trends, innovations in pharmacy operations, and best practices in retail pharmacy management. The accompanying trade exhibition showcased a wide range of new healthcare, wellness and retail solutions, providing opportunities to engage directly with suppliers and explore innovations that can improve customer experience and service delivery.
Speaking on the attendance, CPL Group highlighted the importance of continuous learning and innovation in pharmacy services to meet the evolving needs of communities.
“Participating in APP allows our pharmacy teams to stay at the forefront of industry developments, strengthen their professional skills, and bring back valuable insights that can enhance the services we provide to our customers,” Ajay Patel, CPL Group CEO said.
CPL Group’s participation reflects its ongoing investment in professional development, innovation, and high-quality healthcare services through its City Pharmacy network across Papua New Guinea.
