We are proud to honor Mr. Stan Joyce, who was recently awarded the prestigious King’s Medal in a special ceremony during the Pride of PNG Women Awards Launch — a fitting tribute to an extraordinary career of leadership and service.
As Chairman of the CPL Group Board for the past six years, Mr. Joyce has played a defining role in guiding the organization, bringing with him more than 30 years of management and board experience across Papua New Guinea and beyond. His influence spans the food, beverage, and manufacturing sectors, leaving a lasting imprint on the industries he has helped shape.

Mr. Joyce is widely recognized for his outstanding leadership as Managing Director of South Pacific Brewery Limited (SP) for 14 years, where he not only drove business success but also championed initiatives that united communities. These include rallying national pride through support for the SP PNG Hunters, the SP Sports Awards, and advocating for responsible alcohol consumption.

His contribution to nation-building extends well beyond the corporate space. Mr. Joyce has supported organizations such as the 2015 Pacific Games Authority, PNG Business Council, PNG Manufacturers Council, Mainland Holdings Limited, and Solomon Breweries Limited. He is also an Inaugural Director of the PNG Chiefs NRL Team, reflecting his passion for sport and national development.

His distinguished service has been recognized through several honors, including the Companion Star of the Order of Melanesia (CSM), the Logohu Awards, and most recently, the 50th Anniversary King’s Medal.

As Mr. Joyce retires from his role as Chairman of CPL Group, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and deepest gratitude for his invaluable leadership, vision, and commitment.

Thank you, Stan, for your remarkable contribution — we wish you all the very best in the next chapter of your journey. 👏🇵🇬
