On 19 August 2024, the CPL Group announced through the PNG Stock Exchange, the appointment of Mr. Kee Lim as Executive Director, with Chief Executive Officer enabling powers with immediate effect.

Mr. Lim’s primary role will be to advise the Board and oversee a project to restructure the organization and optimize processes through a Digitalization Strategy. He will also lead the Senior Management Team, in his capacity within the Group’s Operations. Mr. Lim will report to the Board through the Chair.

Mr. Lim brings several decades of experience in both Papua New Guinea and overseas managing and advising businesses in multiple industries including manufacturing, logistic, retailing and technology.

He has been responsible for several successful turnarounds with growth in both the top and bottom line results every time. Mr. Lim completed his degrees as Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering Science and Master of Business and Technology from the University Of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

In welcoming Mr. Kee Lim to the organization, CPL Group Chairman Mr. Stan Joyce noted that Kee’s extensive experience and knowledge of the ways of working in Papua New Guinea enabled the Board to make the appointment with confidence and urgency.
