Inventory Controller


Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on new challenges? We’re seeking dedicated & qualified individuals to take on the role of Inventory Controller. Join us and play a crucial role in providing support to the Finance Department.

Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and optimizing stock flow to meet customer demands. Your primary goal will be to maintain efficient stock control processes to support uninterrupted supply and maximize protitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock records through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and system updates.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor stock levels and product expiration dates, taking appropriate actions to minimize waste or losses.
  • Analyze stock data and generate reports on stock levels, stock aging, slow – moving items, and other relevant metrics.
  • Implement and enforce stock control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement initiatives to streamline stock control processes, enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross- functional teams, such as operations, finance, and sales, to align stock control activities with overall business objectives.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Educated up to grade 12 education level.
  • Diploma in Accounting and or a related field would be a plus.
  • Minimum one (1) year’s working experience within the business.
    Proficient in the usage of Pronto – xi software.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in stock records and reporting.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 tools such as (MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
