NEW IRELANDER BECOMES FIRST OUT-OF-POM CPL CUSTOMER TO ORDER ONLINE STORE GOODS
In a first since relaunching the CPL Group e-commerce website in December 2020, PNG’s leading retail group, CPL Group has received a first order from outside of Port Moresby through its City Pharmacy brand.

The customer is Mrs Vikki Pearson of Cairns, in Queensland Australia, who had ordered baby care products for her younger sister Marty Kuam’s 6 month old son.
“My family is based in PNG and I was trying to look at an innovative way to send money during the lockdown when I found out about the CPL Group Online Store on Facebook. The CPL Online shop website has cut the long lines at the bank and shops during these tough times and made it easier to buy essential products such as baby care products, for our relatives,” said Mrs Vikki Pearson, CPL Group Online store customer, based in Australia.
The order was done on Friday 23 April and was made available on the same day at the City Pharmacy Kavieng Branch.

Customers based out-of-Pom were open to order online from 21 January, this year from City Pharmacy, whilst SNS supermarket online shopping and deliveries concentrated on Port Moresby customers,” said Mr Kevin Alo- CPL Group’s General Manager for Group Strategic Marketing.
The retail group will expand its online store selection and will also integrate special offers for its Real Rewards Loyalty members come mid-year.
