CPL Group Forms Partnership With St John Ambulance

CPL GROUP PARTNERSHIP WITH ST JOHN AMBULANCE (SJA) TO SELL FIRST AID KITS IN ALL CPL OUTLETS NATIONWIDE

CPL Group has announced a partnership with St John Ambulance in ensuring that quality first aid kits are available to everyone in Papua New Guinea.

“Partnerships like this are essential for the delivery of basic, accessible and affordable healthcare products.

The work St John is doing is exemplary and as an organization concerned with the health and wellbeing of the country, we are happy to pave this partnership,” said CPL Group CEO, Mr Navin Raju.

He added that these kits are designed for different emergencies and it is something that as PNG’s leading retailer is focused on bringing quality brands.

St John’s CEO, Mr Mathew Cannon, in reply said it has been difficult for people to obtain first aid kits outside Port Moresby, and other major centers from St John Ambulance.

“But with this partnership, they will be able to reach the 18 areas of the country that CPL pharmacies are operating. We know that First aid saves lives and that when first aid is initiated quickly and immediately, its more effective,” said Mr Cannon.

From April 2022, all City Pharmacy outlets nationwide will retail a select range of St John Ambulance First Aid kits. Business customers will be able to buy a larger range of kits as they need on special orders.

Every toea that St John Ambulance raises from selling these kits to the public will help the ambulance service continue to provide free vital emergency responsive transport to Papua New Guineans.
