CPL Group Charity Arm Donates K70,000 To Ginigoada Foundation

GINIGOADA FOUNDATION INC RECEIVED A DONATION OF K70,000 FROM CPL FOUNDATION

The Ginigoada Foundation received a financial donation of K70,000 from CPL Group’s charity arm, CPL Foundation, recently.

“So far, we have graduated over 30,000 participants from our program through CPL Group’s partnership support.

The COVID-19 pandemic affected our businesses operation and the economy and so our funding was put on hold, but this re-engagement is a positive indication that we are returning to normal, thus our training partnership will impact the lives of the communities we engage with” says Mr Rabura Aiga Foundation Manager of Ginigoada Foundation Inc.

Since its establishment in 2002, Ginigoada Foundation has been assisting disadvantaged youths develop financial literacy skills and on-the-job training to assist them improve their livelihood.

CPL Foundation has since fostered a cordial partnership with the Ginigoada Foundation in 2015 and has provided support by becoming its major sponsor of the Ginigoada Youth Financial Literacy Skills Program.

“We are proud to support life skills training in PNG, and managing one’s money is one important life skill to be resilient and thrive- it is one of CPL Foundation’s major objectives to help support education initiatives of impact in PNG,” said Navin Raju- Group CEO.

The partnership will enable Ginigoada to fund resources, training materials and logistics for the youth programs.
