CPL Foundation Donates 150 Chairs To Pacific Adventist University

PAU RECEIVES DONATION OF 150 CHAIRS FROM CPL FOUNDATION

The School of Science and Technology of the Pacific Adventist University (PAU) have received a boost to their operations with the donation of 150 plastic chairs from CPL Foundation and home improvement brand, Hardware Haus, recently.

“It is a pleasure for Hardware Haus getting involved in an activity in providing the much-needed assistance to supporting student run programs through provision of resources such as chairs. “We are proud to see where our furniture supplies go. To be able to support such places of learning stays true to our vision of making a better PNG.” said Mr Edward Narayan, Branch
Manager Hardware Haus Port Moresby.

The chairs were funded by CPL Group’s charity arm; CPL Foundation and supplied by Hardware Haus Limited.

“Chairs are versatile and are vital in the main operations of our school to provide education services. We hope it paves a way to a long-term relationship with PNG’s largest retailer, CPL Group,” said Vice Chancellor for the Pacific Adventist University, Professor Lohi Matainaho.

The 150 chairs donated would assist students under the School of Science and Technology with their educational, enrichment and spiritual activities on campus.

CPL Foundation implements its corporate-social responsibility programs through raising awareness and supporting initiatives focused on health, education, and economic empowerment.
